After Raul Aparicio left the project, I was tasked with fixing and cleaning up this area. I rebuilt and stitched most of the cave rock meshes and also blended/skirted all the multiple materials. I Rebuilt close to 300 assets used in the Main crater as they were very high poly and added new LODs and shadow Proxys. It was a very tedious work but it had to be done in order for the area to run smoothly.
Some of my geyser assets were also used in the bay and all the work was done by external development team. They did a good job with the different configurations.
